I think we should do a vote on this. As I said on FactNET I'm open to allowing certain profanity on this board so long as it is not against other members and comes in the form of quoting LaRouche. My reason for this is LaRouche frequently uses profanity, we are all reasonable adults here, and it allows accurate quoting of exactly what LaRouche says which is particularly useful when he goes on rants during shows. I think we should all have our input on this. I think in the long term it shows precisely just how ridiculous some statements he makes really are. |

Sure. Showing his profanity is fine, and I don't think anyone here is going to cuss like a sailor anyway. |

I'm all for profanity. FACTNET made it difficult to accurately quote LC publications and internal documents. I remember having to do something like change "shit" to "shite" in order to evade the FACTNET censorship machinery. |

Yes, I agree profanity should be allowed provided it is not directed at anyone personally and it is in the form of a quote by someone. Otherwise, we would miss out on the crazy LaR statements. |

Ok I won't impose any filters unless we all degenerate into swearing all the time which I don't foresee happening. We can then more accurately quote LaRouche and his crazy antics. |

I say we allow all the fucking profanity we want, as long as we're not using it to attack people. |

Agreed with everybody. Although I kind of appreciated the FACTnet auto-nanny because I liked the way it made you invent cusses (sometimes even more obscene and suggestive). Bob |
